Background

In 2000 Mr Bruce Twaddle, the Head of Orthopaedic Trauma at New Zealand's largest hospital, Auckland, asked "How can we create a system to capture clinical audit information prospectively?". 

Out of this developed a localised database which implemented some key new concepts to satisfy this question. In 2002 SCOPE Solutions was engaged to support and develop the solution.  Other products were added to the range offered and more hospital facilities implemented.

In 2008 a comprehensive range of products was made available to the marketplace, developed using the latest microsoft technology. This unique offering can truly claim to be clinician lead and is now available to the marketplace. Our products are now installed in a number of hospitals, servicing a range of surgical specailtties.

SCOPE Solutions Ltd is a private company located in Auckland New Zealand.  SCOPE was started by health IT specialists who remain with the organisation today. SCOPE Solutions has a specialist development partner organisation and comprises 10 staff in total.
